ALNNJ Design Awards Submission Deadline
The Architects League of Northern New Jersey is pleased to announce the return of our annual Design Awards Competition, recognizing outstanding architectural design from across our region and beyond.
Projects submitted will be considered for the prestigious ALNNJ Building of the Year Award, selected by an independent design jury, as well as the ALNNJ Peer Design Award, determined through online voting by Architects League members.
Eligible Projects
- Built and unbuilt work accepted
- Multiple submissions permitted
- ALNNJ members, including AIA Architect and AIA Associate members, may submit projects located anywhere
- Non-members may submit projects located in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, or Sussex Counties, New Jersey
- Built projects completed after January 1, 2026, are eligible. Unbuilt concepts developed after January 1, 2026, are eligible
Entry Fees
- $50 for ALNNJ Members
- $150 for Non-Members (for eligible projects located in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, or Sussex Counties)
Important Dates
November 2, 2026, 5:00 PM – Submission Deadline
Week of November 9, 2026 – Member Voting Opens
November 19, 2026 – Winners Announced at the ALNNJ Members Meeting
January 30, 2027 – Awards Presented at the Architects League Awards & Installation Dinner
In addition to the Building of the Year Award, the jury may recognize exceptional projects with Design Merit Awards. Winning projects will be celebrated by the architectural community and featured through Architects League communications.
